Offering safe planned walking/running loops, the start and finish locations are always at a restaurant; this invites walkers/runners to break bread with the devoted group after the walk/run. All you have to do to join in is to show up at the designated weekly location and look for the group in athletic gear.

    UT Dallas CometTHON's Jungle Run is an annual non-profit social 5k held in the spring semester on campus at UT Dallas. Students and non-students are encouraged to come. The event is pet friendly, so feel free to bring your dog! A family friendly atmosphere with fun and games to keep the kids entertained, all included with your ticket price. CometTHON is #ForTheKids, we raise money all year to contribute to Children's Miracle Network and help provide free healthcare and groundbreaking research to North Texas families. At the end of each year, we host a Dance Marathon where all are welcome to come party with a purpose, where we unveil the final amount that we raised over the year and get to hear from some of our miracle kids.
